The Opportunity

State Wide Sheds has an exciting opportunity for a motivated, technically-minded Project Manager to join the team. This role is based in the Dubbo head office and will be responsible for overseeing the construction of specialised sheds throughout rural NSW.

Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will be required to develop and execute end to end project plans to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project.
  • Execute project plans including scheduling of site crews, concrete orders, equipment & material deliveries.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for materials, equipment and labour to ensure timely delivery and project quality
  • Review, maintain and issue accurate project documentation whilst monitoring project expenditures
  • Promote and enforce a culture of safety awareness and accountability among all team members.

About You

You will possess strong leadership skills, providing support and guidance to your team to ensure quality project execution. To be successful, you will have:

  • Degree or Certificate in Engineering, Construction Management or similar experience
  • Proven experience managing multiple remote site crews
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations and construction methodologies
  • Strong organisational, logistical and communication skills
  • Commitment to safety and knowledge of OHS legislation
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a work ethic that is passionate about achieving high quality project outcomes
  • Willingness to travel to remote sites as required.
