About the Role
Our clients is seeking a mechanically minded and motivated individual to join our team in Goulburn as an Apprentice Plant Mechanic. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience and formal training while learning to maintain and repair a diverse range of mobile plant and heavy equipment used across the national rail network.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the inspection, repair, and overhaul of rail plant, vehicles, and mechanical equipment
• Learn to diagnose and test mechanical systems using powered and hand tools
• Participate in workshop and field service repairs under qualified supervision
• Operate and test machinery where required
• Support safe work practices and maintain accurate service documentation

What We’re Looking For

• A strong interest in mechanical systems and a desire to build a trade career
• Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious
• Team player with good communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work through structured processes
• A current Class C driver’s licence (essential)
• HR/MR licence or related mechanical experience (desirable but not essential)
