The Opportunity
Ready to work a 3 day week and earn $3K take home weekly, in a long-term role in one of NSW’s leading underground mines? 

Centennial Coal is currently recruiting Underground Electricians for weekend night shift roles on a 3-day, 12-hour roster. This is a permanent position with exceptional earning potential, regular overtime opportunities, and a strong, high-performing team culture.

Successful candidates will initially undergo onboarding/training on weekday shifts before transitioning into the weekend night shift roster.
 

• Mine Site: Airly NSW, 2790.
• Welcomes local applicants (Lithgow, Portland, Bathurst, Mudgee) or those who will travel to work for a 3-day roster.
• Accommodation: No camp, many workers stay locally at a nearby pub that offers budget-friendly rooms, or bring their own caravan arrangements.

What We’re Looking For

• NSW Electrical Licence – essential
• Current Driver’s Licence – essential
• Mining experience preferred – OR strong heavy industrial experience (e.g. power stations)
• Exposure to safety systems (e.g. Take 5s, JSAs, SWMS)
• Ability to pass Order 43 Medical, D&A and Police Check

NOTE: While underground coal experience is preferred, experienced industrial sparkies from other heavy industry backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
