TORRA is partnering with a leading civil construction company to source an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Representative based in Dubbo, and servicing the broader Central West NSW region.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a safety professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about driving best practice in WHS and environmental management.
About the Role
As the HSE Representative, you’ll work closely with project teams to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards across a high-impact civil construction project. You’ll be a key player in risk management, incident response, and continuous improvement, helping to shape safer, smarter worksites.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert WHS and environmental advice to project teams
- Lead risk assessments and develop Safety Environmental Work Method Statements
- Support the implementation of site-specific management plans
- Monitor compliance through inspections, audits, and reporting
- Facilitate incident investigations and corrective actions
- Mentor teams and subcontractors in HSE standards
- Assist with pre-contracts and tender submissions
What We’re Looking For
- Formal qualifications in WHS/OHS
- Strong understanding of HSE legislation and civil construction environments
- Demonstrated experience with TfNSW G22 specifications
- Internal Auditor certification and ICAM Lead Investigator credentials
- Advanced First Aid and White Card
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or higher)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
