Leading Hand

• Location: Western Sydney
• Roster: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm (plus overtime)

Join a Sydney based contractor with 35+ years’ experience delivering specialised civil and infrastructure projects across NSW. We’re seeking a reliable and experienced leading hand to join the team across a range of civil and structural works.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading and supervising a small crew on-site
• Coordinating daily tasks and allocating work to team members
• Performing hands-on civil works as required
• Assisting with site setup, preparation, and ongoing works
• Ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are used efficiently
• Maintaining a safe work environment and enforcing site safety standards
• Liaising with supervisors and trades to keep work progressing
• Working with the team to meet project deadlines

What we’re looking for
• 5+ years’ civil construction experience, including leading hand exposure
• Multiskilled across groundworks and plant operation
• Experience on infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, retaining walls)
• Able to lead a crew while remaining hands-on
• White Card and reliable transport
• Strong safety and teamwork focus
• Able to pass drug & alcohol screening and medical
