Site Manager

Torra Staffing and Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a reputable construction business delivering industrial projects across the Central Coast and Newcastle.
This role will see you managing sites end-to-end, coordinating subcontractors and trades, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
You will provide strong onsite leadership while maintaining compliance with WHS requirements and working closely with internal teams.
Responsibilities will include:
• End-to-end management of construction sites
• Coordinating and managing the delivery of materials to site
• Leading and supervising subcontractors, trades and onsite personnel
• Maintaining a strong safety culture and ensuring WHS compliance at all times
• Managing site programmes to ensure works are delivered to schedule
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
• Coordinating with internal teams including logistics, ordering and crane operations
• Managing RFIs, inspections and quality control onsite
• Uploading daily site photos and progress updates into Procore
• Maintaining clean, safe and compliant work sites
•Operating tools, equipment and assisting with materials handling where required
What we’re looking for
• Proven experience running mid-scale construction projects
• Certificate IV in Civil Construction (desirable)
• Certificate IV in Frontline Management (desirable)
• White Card
• Current driver’s licence
• Demonstrated experience managing projects valued between $5m – $10m
• Background delivering industrial multi-unit complexes
• Experience working with pre-cast construction
Skills & Attributes
• Strong onsite leadership and people management capability
• Solid understanding of WHS legislation and safety requirements
• Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail
• Confident communicator with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
• Comfortable using construction software or willing to learn
